House Q04L63: the ideal retreat for a family vacation

The project for house Q04L63, designed by the mf+arquitetos studio, arises from the desire of a family to have a cozy and spacious vacation home where they can spend weekends and host friends and relatives.

Social Interaction-Oriented Design

Thanks to the attention to detail and the harmonious combination of social and private spaces, House Q04L63, designed by mf+arquitetos, stands out among architectural projects for its ability to blend comfort and aesthetics. The project for the house begins with the proposal of a vacation home, to be used on weekends for leisure time as well as for hosting friends and family. The goal was to allocate 50% of the house's surface area for social interaction, including spaces like the gourmet corner, dining room, living room, pool, and sauna. The remaining space, located at the front of the house, is designated for the more intimate area for family members and guests.

Natural and Cozy Materials

For the coverings, natural materials such as Egyptian travertine marble covering the floor and walls in the main room, black slate and granite on the side walls were chosen, creating a modern and timeless atmosphere.

Connection with Nature

To enhance the interaction between the interior and exterior, especially in a region like the one where the house is located, by the river and rich in natural beauty, vegetation has been incorporated in various parts of the house, taking advantage of the house's position. Wood is the predominant material used throughout the house, integrated into all spaces.
