The seafront views are special because they are visible from every room in every unit. The residents will be able to admire the iconic symbols of Dubai, including Skydive Dubai, Palm Island, Blue Waters Island and Ain Dubai. This guiding principle adds value to the land
The principle of clarity is the key to the design equation. Many buildings are burdened with strangely shaped, cluttered and unreadable spaces. The market is full of residential buildings with excessively twisted rooms, too much unusable space and insufficient openness and ventilation. Comparable buildings often have L-shaped or even curved rooms and walls. While a curved wall can be aesthetically appealing, it also reduces usable space and undermines flexibility. As a result, the buyers of apartments end up paying for the space they cannot use
The clarity oriented design arranges all the spaces as simple straight rooms. The layouts are completely rational, while ensuring that each apartment has the most usable space. This is the added value of Design, according to IvarKrasinski, EDGE Founding Partner and Lead Designer of the project
The resulting minimalist aesthetic is visible throughout the building and in its interior design. As a result, each space conveys a sense of serenity that is not commonly found in residential buildings. The rooms are designed to be well lit, with ideal views and clear volumes
In terms of vertical transport, it stands out from the vast majority of today's multi-residential buildings. The uniqueness of the scheme stems from the fact that, in the lower two-thirds of the building, each lift entrance will be shared only by two neighbours per floor. For the upper floors of the building, each owner has access to a lobby with a private elevator: as soon as they leave the elevator, they are at home. This enables the owners to decorate their elevator lobby to their liking. This strategy of smart elevators and access controls offers more privacy
