Residence and modular elements. The assembling is designed to be unique every time

The Whitaker Studio, after the great success with the design of the Joshua Tree Residence, again proposes the modular scheme thinking of infinite variables that can be realized in any type of terrain and place and can be easily and quickly assembled

Following the vortex of advertising that overwhelmed Joshua Tree, the Studio received many requests to know if the house could be reproduced in mass, or if it had a repeatable design. The requests came for any type of building and for any location

The requests were most likely made because the Joshua Tree Residence was created from containers and therefore perceived as easily transportable. But the crux of the project is the fact that it is able to transform itself every time into something unique and site-specific

The starting point was that no two houses should ever be the same, each client's house must be unique. U a project that by using standard elements, we could create a house on the hill with five rooms or a villa on the lake with only one room, up to a hotel with a number of rooms to be determined

So far a house with three different bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a study unit has been designed. Each unit has two or more openings that can be the connection point to the next unit or can be replaced with a window or door. Every time you add another unit there are at least two possible orientations for that unit and without any limit on the number of units that can be linked, for an infinite number of possibilities

The studio is currently working on the construction of the first Anywhere House in spring 2019 on the side of a lake in Alberta, Canada
