Production and image: warehouse and representative offices
The studio Arkispazio has been commissioned for the renovation of the Mec Pac's industrial headquarters. Specifically, the headquarters consisted of a prefabricated warehouse and an adjacent office building. The intervention involves a complete redesign of both the functional and plant aspects of the warehouse, as well as an aesthetic restyling of the representative building that houses the offices
A new skin
The office building that houses the administrative and management functions of the company is strategically located where it enjoys excellent visibility. The new design of the facades is composed of slender uprights, fixed to the existing structure, which mark the rhythm and lightness of the new architectural skin made of micro-perforated sheet metal. This way, the building becomes geometrically ordered, enriched by a more elegant and contemporary aesthetic
Meeting room with a view of the core
The two buildings are connected by an existing suspended walkway, completely made of glass. Inside the warehouse, where the walkway leads from the administration area, the architects have created an elevated meeting room with ample glass windows, from which one can admire the production process
