Four years after the launch of LumiPod, the French company LUMICENE continues to expand its concept of high-end cabins and to offer a new approach to the sensory experience in the hospitality sector. The latest project is located in the heart of the Jura at Maison Zugno, a 5-star hotel near Poligny, France, where a 26 square meter suite has been delicately installed on a scenic overlook

Merging harmoniously with the landscape and offering a unique view of the valley, from behind the curved windows or from the private terrace, one can experience a unique sense of peace and connection with nature. LumiPod is a wooden-clad cabin that contains a high-end hotel room, where great attention has been paid to design and material selection. The configuration is minimalist and essential, but without compromising comfort
The structure of LumiPod is made of steel to ensure the level of rigidity required for the proper functioning of the LUMICENE window. It consists of: a frame set on point foundation elements; a prefabricated rear module containing all the technical equipment; a front module bolted to the rear directly on-site. The curved wooden outer wall incorporates 20 cm of glass wool, an external rain screen, and an internal vapor barrier. The roof and floor are insulated with 8 cm of polyurethane
LumiPod is designed around the Lumicene window, which can slide open to a 120° angle. The front module houses the sleeping area and the lounge, furnished with a king-size bed and a central storage unit, custom-made in natural oak. The large curved window opens fully to offer an incredible immersive experience in the surrounding nature. The rear module houses the bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet, as well as a ceiling-mounted wardrobe. The floor and walls are lined with MOSA anthracite ceramic tiles, and the bathroom fittings are from AXOR
