FGP Atelier designs for Shenzhen Metro Group and Vanke a vertical neighborhood more than towers, where open space is as important as closed space. The building was "cut" into programmatic components that were then stacked

Each facade is unique: one is defined by a grid, one by horizontal bands, and one by vertical volumes. Although each has a unique layout and its own dedicated access lobby, they were designed with a palette of materials that would unify the overall image

This palette was determined through close collaboration with the client and local industry and includes materials such as low-iron glass, triple glazing, a stainless steel facade, and brushed aluminum and stainless steel screens.
The project is unified by a huge covered courtyard that connects everything
