Immersed in the extraordinary natural beauty of the Baja California peninsula, the Solaz Los Cabos Hotel, designed by Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos, spans 9.8 hectares facing the Sea of Cortez. This project falls within the realm of architectural projects that celebrate the symbiosis between landscape, architecture, and art, seamlessly integrating with the semi-desert context characterized by ochre tones that contrast with the deep blue of the sea. Every design choice, from local materials to vegetation, aims to strengthen the connection between the hotel and the surrounding territory.

Organic curves and functional spaces

The hotel rooms are distributed on three large curved terraces that extend from east to west, ensuring a spectacular view of the sea due to the sloping layout. The spaces between the terraces, designed as "canyons" rich in vegetation, ensure privacy and create natural corridors. At the lowest level, near the beach, are the main hotel facilities, such as restaurants and recreational spaces, offering guests an intimate and immersive experience.

The main building, with its plastic forms and overlapping volumes, expresses an organic movement that interacts with the surrounding landscape.
