The redesigning of Swisse Vitamins in Melbourne's headquarters to improve the environmental and working conditions of staff and visitors is being carried out by the Austrian studio Six Degrees, which is redeveloping the entire building
Inside the building there is an internal oasis that will be used as a garden, which will provide movement, ventilation, natural light and a quiet view in contact with nature
The inner courtyard is surrounded by a combination of offices, open spaces and enclosures. A glass wall ensures there is a spatial connection between the rear warehouse and the offices
The design strategy is very precise with regard to the application of the material. The garden environment features natural wood, alongside colours such as black and grey, which makes the work environment more comfortable, thanks to the contact with nature
On the inner face of the courtyard, there is a horizontal strip made of bronze mirror to hide the floor plate and keep the glass at a double height, creating plays of light and reflections in the space
A well-designed environment, capable of ensuring comfort even in an environment such as the workplace, where the importance of human well-being is not compromised
