A modular architecture for different configurations

The Lithuanian studio ŠA Atelier, operating in the field of design and architecture projects, is commissioned to design a living module, built in a workshop to then be transported and potentially assembled at the chosen location. 019 Cabin is a transportable modular architecture, defined by the combination of its individual components, roof, walls, floors, etc. The modularity of the cabin's elements allows it to be assembled in different configurations

Sleek steel legs, floating roof, metal facades, and a heart of wood

Sleek steel legs support the cabin, elevating it from the ground and adapting to any uneven terrain. A floating roof protects the module from direct sunlight and collects rainwater. The facades are made of unpainted metal, and the material's processing makes each one aesthetically unique. Within this smooth and reflective shell lies a warm heart of natural plywood wood

The program of the cabin at Apple Island: 23 square meters for a complete home

At Apple Island, the lush nature is reflected on the walls of the 019 Cabin, which, with its front deck, overlooks the lake shores. The light volume harmoniously integrates into the surroundings, offering a cozy and sheltered corner from which to observe the beauty of the landscape. In this project, the cabin contains a combination of transformable furniture that allows for a program of 2 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom in just 23 square meters. The interior extends into nature thanks to the folding glass wall, completely openable at the end of the module
