Villa Fifty-Fifty: a seamless dialogue between nature and architecture

The Studioninedots studio designs Villa Fifty-Fifty, a minimalist pavilion that blurs the boundaries between indoor and outdoor: with transparent materials and open and closed volumes, the house explores a unique balance between living space and natural landscape

A mosaic between home and garden

The villa, designed by Studioninedots, presents itself as a contemporary pavilion that integrates half home and half garden within a single volume, blurring the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces. This distinctive example of their architectural projects gives equal importance to outdoor living functions, promoting a living experience that celebrates nature. Every space, whether open or enclosed, contributes to creating a mosaic of connections between building and landscape, where functions overlap without ever overshadowing each other. The result is a home that not only accommodates but invites living in symbiosis with the external world, strengthening the relationship between man and environment.

Functional Spaces on Multiple Levels

The organization of spaces within Villa Fifty-Fifty follows a functional yet creative logic, balancing shared and private areas. On the ground floor are the common areas, such as the kitchen and living room, designed to be lived in and shared, along with spaces dedicated to the parents. On the upper level, a small tower houses the children's rooms, offering them an autonomous and independent dimension without losing the sense of belonging to the house. The distribution of rooms on multiple levels ensures a smooth transition between different areas of the house, promoting practical and harmonious organization.

Materials and transparencies: the language of design

The design of Villa Fifty-Fifty stands out for the use of industrial materials combined with a palette of grays with refined textures, creating a coherent and sophisticated aesthetic. Glass takes center stage, used to blur the boundaries between interior and exterior, allowing for a constant visual dialogue with the landscape. On the ground floor, a round element made of semi-transparent corrugated polycarbonate introduces an ethereal atmosphere, while the tower is wrapped in polished aluminum, delicately reflecting the natural surroundings. These materials not only give a contemporary character to the villa but also amplify the sensation of lightness and openness.

Unique Light and Atmosphere

Natural light is one of the key elements of the project, filtering through the roof and transparent materials to create a unique atmosphere in every room of the house. Each volume, while interconnected, has its own identity and atmosphere, emphasized by the modulation of light and the use of distinctive materials. This attention to light and its interaction with space transforms Villa Fifty-Fifty into a place where design and nature intertwine, offering a complete sensory experience. The villa is not just a residence, but a place that invites you to continuously discover new details and perspectives.
