Designed by architect Duilio Damilano, Villa IE presents itself as a mutable environment where both materials and vegetation change over time. The larch shingle roof and the facade cladding in wood, coupled with stone, glass, and Corten, complete the external image of the building
Mutability of Villa IE. Materials and surrounding vegetation change over time
Perched atop a hill, on a plot of approximately 20,000 sqm, Villa IE enjoys a panoramic view of the Piedmontese Alps and the plain below

The villa blends into its park, where orientally inspired gardens create connections with the different sides of the building. The transparency of the dwelling, provided by the large windows, allows for almost constant visual contact with the garden
A water mirror with water lilies and planters, along with the swimming pool, complete the exteriors of Villa IE. Seating and art pieces, scattered throughout the park, allow one to enjoy the nature of the park, which grows partly following a design and partly spontaneously
