In the Zig Zag House, by ENSAMBLE STUDIO, each level distributed on the slope offers a room, but nowhere on the slope is there a room. The beams do not touch each other but rather make up the structure of the zigzag structure of the space

The Zig Zag House glides down the slope among the trees: distributed on several levels, the steps of the beams support the precarious balance of horizontality, where the life of the house takes place always moving between uncertain forms

The inertia of the sloping ground pushes the construction toward the bottom of the slope. The house gently touches the ground and floats on top of it until it reaches the water, and at the same time it projects toward the sky
