In the heart of Dordrecht, on a lively square in front of the Kunstkerk, stands De Witt, once known as The Movies. This historic cinema has been transformed into a glamorous destination through the creative intervention of Studio Modijefsky. Today, De Witt is not just a place to watch movies, but also a sophisticated brasserie open all day, offering a culinary experience that combines flavors and visions in a suggestive and richly historical setting.

House Zandpad: rebirth of an ancient residence

Casa Zandpad represents an example of how architectural renovation can preserve the historical charm of a building, integrating it with modern elements to create a welcoming and functional home. Thanks to the creative work of Studio Modijefsky and architect Jules Zwijse, this 17th-century house has been reborn as a modern family residence that celebrates the beauty of the surrounding nature and the joy of domestic life.

After 119 years of serving the neighborhood, Café Bos needed a deep renovation. "Drie Wijzen uit Oost" and Studio Modijefsky collaborated to transform this classic Amsterdam locale into Bonnie: a refined and traditional bar-bistro with all the necessary characteristic elements such as mirrors, classic tiles, old-style wood, and neon lights

The concept is inspired by the German biergärten, an open-air area surrounded by trees, where beer and food are served on long wooden tables, highlighting in this way the original architecture of the building.
Linearity, compactness and warmth are the main components of the design. These abstract elements are translated into an interplay of raw materials often found in outdoor spaces such as concrete, wood and copper

The Bellamy neighbourhood was marginal to the city but since the 19th century people have been migrating to the suburbs like a caravan. The Modijefsky Studio transformed the journey into a concept of a bar and restaurant, hence the name Karavaan.
