Arkiawards is the event conceived by the editorial staff of arkitectureonweb for the first time in 2023, on the occasion of the tenth year of activity of the online portal.
It is a competition aimed at telling and sharing beauty, art, and design skills.
An opportunity to engage with designers and architects from around the world who, through their projects and creations, have best expressed the vision of architecture and design.
The competition is open to designers and architects from around the world with the aim of creating a sharing space that highlights creativity.
Participating is an opportunity to promote your studio and the vision of your work through the presented project. It's a way to connect with a highly targeted audience and an international community through dedicated digital communication on the portal and social media pages of arkitectureonweb.
All participating projects will be published on the arkitectureonweb portal accompanied by a label Participants ARKIAWARDS 2024
Nominations will be open from July 15 to October 15 through the submission of one project completed in the 2022-2024 triennium (by September 2024). ARCHITECTURE
A celebration of innovative and functional spaces, this category rewards projects that stand out for the harmonious integration of aesthetics, sustainability, and utility, transforming architectural vision into tangible reality.
Villas, residential complexes, hotels and accommodation buildings, commercial buildings, skyscrapers, museums and cultural spaces, school buildings, healthcare facilities, urban infrastructure (stations, airports)
OUTDOOR
Dedicated to creative solutions that enhance outdoor spaces, this category highlights projects that combine design, functionality, and respect for the environment, improving the way we experience the city and the interaction between humans and nature.
Squares, parks, botanical gardens, installations, pedestrian and cycling paths, playgrounds, outdoor sports facilities (basketball courts, skateparks), waterfronts, and seaside promenades.
DESIGN
This category recognizes excellence in product design, awarding those objects and solutions that stand out for their originality, practicality, and aesthetic impact, influencing the way we live and interact with our surroundings.
Furniture, home accessories (mirrors, vases), technology (smartwatches, speakers, computer accessories), designer appliances (refrigerators, coffee machines), lighting (floor lamps, chandeliers), lifestyle items (bikes, skateboards, scooters)
The jury that will evaluate the projects will be made up of highly qualified profiles who operate in the reference sector. Made up of people selected from prestigious architects, designers, art critics, artists and photography schools. It will review the candidate projects and select the winners using these evaluation criteria:
On December 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2024, on the Instagram channel of arkitectureonweb, the three winners, one for each category, will be announced through three live broadcasts. They will receive a recognition plaque designed and produced for the occasion by the talented designer Chizu Kobayashi.
