Close to Charleroi train station, Traumnouvelle designs autonomous workspaces from a discarded industrial building to a central public space dedicated to the common activities of this industrial ecosystem

The system with which the space is organized aims to make the existing spatial structures and use of space more accessible. The Advanced Engineering Center promotes a sense of community and collaboration among workers, as well as optimal working conditions
The central community space with a tropical indoor garden provides a different kind of communal and leisure space, encouraging new forms of work and collaboration. In this way the spaces dedicated to unproductive activities assume a central position in the overall distribution of the work space
In case the industrial space has to be converted or demolished, the project is completely detachable. The work modules are composed of industrial storage platforms, the structures are autonomous and all the partition materials can be detached and reused elsewhere
