The main theme of the residential architecture project by Daida Design Studio for the Breeze Box was how to experience the light and air from the outside while protecting the privacy of its inhabitants

The southern boundary of the plot where the Breeze Box stands is very close to the adjacent residence, while to the east there is a parking lot of a community house. These proximity conditions make privacy an even stronger and more necessary challenge
At the center of the house, a three-level staircase was built to capture natural light from the area opening above the neighboring house. For the eastern side, the designers devised a striped-looking façade. The volume of the stairs also acts as a ventilation shaft, bringing fresh air into the house
