The Chiodelli Arte studio, inspired by Eastern philosophy and approach, for the Hillside apartment chooses materials and shapes the rooms so that they are integrated with the surrounding vegetation, becoming one. Large sliding windows envelop the spaces in all shades of natural light, opening up striking views of Clear Water Bay's waterfront and wooded hillsides

The antique wood of the furniture, left unfinished, chases the polished one of parquet floors and ceilings meeting technology in the large wine cellar and between the grooves of the walls. A masterpiece of cabinet-making are the panels placed above the fireplace in the living room that present triangular geometries recalling the technique of origami. Like leaves moved by the wind, these decorations create movement and lead the eye to the rest of the living area

Metallic inserts with galvanic treatment in gold and bronze give a contemporary edge by enhancing the nuances of the wood while dark ones detail the house by recalling the dark marble of the living room.
