The construction of the apartment dates back to the early 20th century, located in New York, in the heart of Manhattan, with a very small surface area of 55m2. The inspiration came from the use of natural Mexican colours and bright architectural elements, in order to convey the feeling of the southern sun and natural colours.
Sunshine colours for an apartment in Manhattan. Creative interpretation of nature
The basic concept, which inspired Reutov Design was the use of warm "Mexican" colours, which reminded us of nature and the scents of warm, faraway places, as a way to escape the dreariness and noise of the city.

The resulting interpretation is creative, the rooms seem full of smells and flowers, a bold project that gives the opportunity to forget the gloomy days and helps to provide relaxation from the noisy metropolis.
This project was an opportunity for the Designer to discover himself and his way of seeing the world through Interior Design, light, delicate and subtly intoxicating. The antique pink walls gave originality to the whole project. The abundance of rich natural shades of green created a truly modern and unique interior.
But at the same time its reference to Liberty colours and trends seems on one hand to want to partly respect the historical character of the apartment by not forcing it to a minimalist aesthetic that would not have been appropriate for it.
