The original house consisted of three parts lined up one after the other: the wooden front part, with the main room, entrance and kitchen, the stone barn with its vaulted ceiling and the brick barn. In the project the original living part would become the guest room and the service parts the new living area of the house

The stable, the barn and the attic were transformed into new living spaces whilst still reflecting the character of the farm. The atmosphere of the barn is also maintained thanks to the open roof, which makes it possible to always be connected to the weather and the time of day
The original roof frame has been retained along with the walls and they have been unified with white paint. A new door provides access to the barn and creates a new passageway. The new living areas are insulated from the outside by mineral wool cladding and the lime plaster in the front part has been renovated
