"The Seeds" is the name of the project located in Jiangxi, China, commissioned to ZJJZ Architecture studio: four wooden houses that seem to come from another dimension. Each house, whose shape is similar to that of a seed, has a continuous ellipsoidal surface with a mirrored aluminum facade

The aluminum cladding reflects all the surrounding environment, with its seasonal changes. During the winter, the metal surface reveals the colors of the red earth, in the spring and summer the freshness of the green plants, the haze of the fog on cloudy days and the brilliance of the sun on bright days
The pine trees surrounding the homes mitigate the aesthetics, allowing the structures to blend in with nature. Based on different functional and visual needs, each home features different circular openings. The interiors are completely clad in wood panels, which somehow further emphasize the ellipsoidal shape of the structure
