The real focus of the project is the passion of the owners for sport, who are divided between being yoga instructors, pilates, mountain-bikes, skis, snowboards and mountain guides. Having to adapt to the athletic genius of the property, the new identity of the Hotel Tofana is that of a real "base camp" for its guests
Numerous terraces and balconies serve as a connection point between inside and outside, between shelter and environment. The width of the glass surfaces together with the "terraced" structure enables daylight to enter and permeate the centre of the building. The use of vertical elements such as external staircases and ramps connects the terraces and creates a path to the top of the roof

The circulation throughout the hotel takes the form of an idealistic "via ferrata" that guests can use. The nature and mountains become the stage for various activities and entertainment. On the ground floor, for example, there are lounges and restaurants alternating with views of Val Badia: the furniture in different shades of blue, green and brown is reminiscent of alpine pastures, biotopes, musk forests and caves
From the valley station, the reception with the cabin of a cable car, starts the ascent - "via ferrata" - which leads to the various floors where, at different altitudes correspond to different types of rooms and suites, until you reach the summit where the guest can relax in the wellness and relaxation area with a splendid view of the Dolomites
The furnishings were created with the aim of offering maximum flexibility and comfort by selecting local materials such as larch wood, linen, and natural stone, which are worked in detail by specialized craftsmen of the area
A project in which every detail has been carefully defined with the aim of giving a specific and genuine character to each area forming the unique spirit of this hotel
