The design of Tribuna Pública, created by Flu-or Arquitectura, is presented as a volume made with a dense spatial mesh, emptied internally and covered with a net externally, which outlines the volume while showing the internal structure
Tribuna Pública, a project born from a spirit of inclusiveness
Local government, cultural institutions and citizens gave birth to Tribuna Pública, a social and cultural activation facility whose goal is to create a space for reflection and debate on the future of the historic docklands

Tribuna Pública is an ephemeral, open, diverse, spoken, lived, transformed and thought structure. This platform has a diversified program of activities, ranging from political debates, workshops, lectures, cinema to concerts, scientific experimentation workshops and more, having as main themes urbanism, science and environment, memory and cultural action
Its location in the plaza of the former Tobacco Factory in the Spanish city of La Coruña, near the edge of the coast, the fish market and so on, gives this enclave a deep symbolic and identity component. The proposal stems from our veiled perception of the port, from our imagery we collect all those elements of our memory that bind us to the port, generating a permeable space for citizens in contrast to its current opacity
Due to the temporary nature of the installation, removable and reusable elements are used, such as scaffolding structures, generating a spatial mesh, like a matrix capable of accommodating multiple uses over the months
