The design studio Arkispazio, led by Paolo Balzanelli and tasked with the Due Diabolos interior project, takes advantage of the central location of the entrance to optimally redistribute the apartment layout. The east side is dedicated to the sleeping area and accompanying amenities, leaving the west-facing portion, with its large windows overlooking the main balcony, for a spacious and bright living room with a kitchen

The apartment subject to the renovation, titled "Two Diabolos" in honor of the two lamps designed by Achille Castiglioni that aesthetically dominate the dining area, is located within a building designed by Gio Ponti, in Milan
A transparent and sliding partition ensures adequate separation between the kitchen and living room areas while maintaining visual uniformity of the space. The sleeping area has been redistributed to create two spacious bedrooms, a laundry room, and two bathrooms. One of the two bathrooms is centrally located at the end of the corridor, allowing the existing windows to be dedicated to the bedrooms
The aesthetics of the project are characterized by attention to finishing materials and furnishings; the result is harmonious, balanced, and elegant, further enriched by bursts of color: the wall art by Vittorio Matino and the lamps, the two Diabolos by Achille Castiglioni. These latter, hanging above the dining table, are the focal points around which the space is organized
