The villa sartorially designed by architect Enrico Girardi Enrico Girardi for his clients, an elegant couple, she from Paris, he from Milan, is located in the municipality of Chamois, reachable exclusively by cable car: even "just making it" is a small undertaking
A quest for elegance and passion for an original mountain home model. An alpine villa in Chamois
"[...] do require from them happy and perfect houses to comfort your life, with a most civilized architecture, beautiful, serene, luminous, sonorous, clear, colorful and pure," said Giò Ponti. The alpine villa in Chamois, Aosta Valley, embodies this intention

Architect Girardi's project tries to break out of the stereotype of the typical mountain house made of wood and stone, using traditional materials of the Alpine context reinterpreted in a modern and more airy way
"The light, even in the night context, overlooks a spectacular valley, and the shaping of the space are the protagonists of this work, reallyEng tailor-made to the countless requests of the client. I put a lot of passion into taking care of the exteriors and the interiors as well, designing everything in detail, including the furnishings, trying to give weight to elegance over the noisy 'look at me, look at me!' that is sometimes perceived in other projects." (arch. Girardi)
