The building in question was originally divided into three bays that limited both flexibility and circulation. The architectural studio decided to divide the spaces to incorporate an educational care home within the care lab

Through this transformation, Care lab becomes a fluid network of spaces, a flexible space with multidisciplinary classrooms. At the center of Care lab, the nursing home simulates a cozy abstract residential home. Instead of using closed walls, it uses a system of open cabinets
Through the use of open walls, the space becomes open and accessible. In addition to serving as a semi-open wall, the wood frame also acts as a display or storage space. The fresh, clean concrete architecture is preserved and complemented by the use of pine wood, a warm material that creates a homely atmosphere
