Simone Carloni (Siena 1969) and Paolo Mori (Florence 1969), graduated in Architecture at the University of Florence in 1999, (speaker: Prof. Adolfo Natalini). In 2001 they founded CMT architects together, with the intention of undertaking a design path aimed at combining the language of contemporary architecture with the demands of the environment and the cultural tradition in which they live. In particular they deepen the theme of the insertion of contemporary materials and fragments in traditional architecture containers. The studio's activity spans several fields: new construction, restoration, museum technology, exhibitions, graphics, design. They take part in numerous national and international design competitions, resulting in some cases as winners and often reported. They boast publications in numerous architectural magazines and books in the sector. With the Palazzo dell'abbondanza, in 2007 they won the Docup award as the best Tuscan public work. They work in Italy and abroad (United States, China, United Arab Emirates)
