Casa Mocoli: a fascinating sculpture with purist lines for an encounter with yourself
The Casa Mocoli home designed by Orense Arquitectos strives to be a structure that creates a sense of enchantment with its purist lines, reaching a spiritual connection in the most intimate spaces, escaping the tension of everyday life
When the visitor is presented with this project, they are prompted to ask: what will the interior be like? The dark, cave-like entrance leads to a double-height space that creates a natural artistic setting. Once inside, the space is transformed and you are enveloped in lighting that is amplified more and more until it reaches the social space
The main space of the house is dominated by a staircase, like a floating sculpture set in a double-height space. The bedrooms are arranged consecutively with the intention that each one should contain the same spaces and privileges and within them the light is filtered by the teak trellis generating changing shadows, which can be opened or closed to guarantee a high level of comfort
The master bedroom completes the pathway on the top floor with the presence of an interior patio that links with nature and is marked by purist lines, creating a place of silence and personal meditation. This work of architecture is characterised by materials such as wood, cement and the white colour which exhibits the purity of architecture, transcending time without losing its essence
