A private, peaceful, fresh, organic residence: this is the brief of the Franklin Residence project, inspired by Japanese design, a place where one can live, work, gather, and play.

The Surroundings

The villa project, designed by Ola Studio, is being carried out by the renowned studio known for its architecture and design projects, for a single owner with an extended family. It is located 400 meters from Portsea Bay, along a road protected by dense shrubbery, with sandy pathways and foliage, strongly emphasizing the connection with the environment.

Simplicity, a keyword in the architecture of the villa

Franklin responds to the artistic interests of the client by incorporating the characteristics of the beach environment. The designers create a sense of belonging to the environment through a serene architectural language. The shape of the residence is very simple, two stories high, although from the street it appears to be a single-story home. The intention is to be humble on the outside and full of warmth, light, joy, and space on the inside.
