An installation guarding Swiss nature
Ispace, besides reconnecting man with nature, allows us to rediscover the various paths of the Swiss valley where it stands, the richness of biodiversity, and the magical hidden corners of the forest
ISPACE is a project by Davide Macullo located in Rossa, a small Swiss municipality. The installation combines the ideas of art and architecture, creating environments capable of influencing our moods and helping us rediscover our inseparable connection with nature.

The entire project involves the construction of 10 wooden structures in the local forests of the municipality of Rossa. The first of these sculptures, capable of giving a very specific identity to the place, and therefore attracting more residents and tourists, was completed in 2020.
The project stems from a personal study conducted by the architect Davide Macullo on the perception of space, capable of being "felt" by human beings even with their eyes closed. The internationally renowned architect for architectural projects integrated into their environment, chooses to build within the forest and with native materials precisely to emphasize a certain sensitivity towards the environment.
The wood material was taken from the locally cut larch trees, and is used to its fullest evocative strength. Specific construction techniques are almost absent, declaring a purity of design thinking and reminding that a work does not need to declare a temporal condition to emphasize the centrality of the relationship between man and nature
