Ispace in addition to helping us rediscover the bond between man and nature, also allows us to rediscover the various paths of the Swiss valley in which it is located, the richness of biodiversity and the magical hidden corners of the forest
Nature, art, perception. Wooden sculpture urges us to re-evaluate our bond with the environment
ISPACE is a project by Davide Macullo located in Rossa, a small town in Switzerland. The installation combines the ideas of art and architecture, creating environments capable of influencing our states of mind and helping us rediscover our indissoluble bond with nature

The project consists of constructing 10 wooden architectures in the local woods of the municipality of Rossa. The first of these sculptures capable of giving a precise identity to the place and thus attracting more inhabitants and tourists was completed in 2020
The project is the product of a personal study conducted by architect Macullo on the perception of space which is capable of being "felt" by human beings even with their eyes closed. The choice was made to build within the forest and with native materials in order to underline a certain sensitivity towards the environment
The wood material was taken from the larch trees cut on site, and is used to the best of its evocative power. Specific construction techniques are almost absent and declare a purity of the design concept and a reminder that a project does not need to declare a temporal condition to emphasize the centrality of the relationship between man and nature
