The KANTO restaurant in Lecco, the second one overlooking Como Lake, revolutionizes its mood with reserved spaces and refined materials, in a combination that offers customers brighter environments and a memorable spatial experience

Interior design with a different image

Fabio Gianoli, author of numerous interior design projects, is thinking of giving a different image to restaurant KANTO in Lecco. Starting from the same black tubular structure, he adds brighter elements and details in precious materials such as marbles and pastel-colored velvets

The three halls of KANTO. Atmospheres and colors

Three halls make up the KANTO in Lecco. The first one offers hidden reserved spaces behind the partitions created by tubular and translucent material; the upholstered furniture creates a delicate atmosphere with the gray velvets of the armchairs and the antique pink of the benches that match the gray marble of the tables. The second one is a "blue space": blue velvet for the upholstery and tables with glossy blue glass tops

Marble and mirror games for accessory environments

The staircase, accessed from the blue room, is completely clad in brass finish and leads to the third room. Here, the bar and sushi preparation counter are located. Even the service areas are strongly characterized by the finishing materials. The corridor leading to the customer bathrooms is a marble veined and mirror game. A fountain immersed in greenery serves as the original washbasin, while a jungle wallpaper in black and white conceals the actual facilities
