The search starts from the libraries of online images without copyright that represent various landscapes: deserts, glaciers, tropics, storms, forests, waterfalls, mountains. These are then collected, printed, cut, folded and assembled in the studio as sculptural environments and then re-photographed.

Photographer Anastasia Samoylova uses filterless research to create images of distant and evocative landscapes that she then composes, giving them an almost sculptural appearance. Each print evokes a certain sector of popular taste she interprets.
The process is largely improvised and constructed element by element, like the way we surf the Internet from one image to another. The results are collages of the real world that take the form of "still life" of landscape compositions. But looking at them closely there is also a world of imperfections, folds, dust, reflections of the workroom...
The perspective is shattered in the way of cubism or constructivism, at the same time "Landscape Sublime" wants to extend the Pop sensibility of James Rosenquist and Robert Rauschenberg, a form that comes from our image world while opening a space to rethink it.
Photography like no other means indicates a reality of time and space. But this reality is itself a construct. Landscape Sublime "bends" time and space into an image. They are true recordings of an invented world
