Renovated and expanded at the behest of the Valentinerhof family, the hotel is given a new identity, thanks to the establishment of a new wellness area, which introduces the water element in the harmony with the architecture and with the focus on interior design
The facades are clad in wooden frames and natural stone and are inspired by the local tradition of Castelrotto
Wooden paintings enclose the surrounding landscape, and spaces are created between the interior and exterior that become part of the landscape
The two spaces merge, evoking a sense of security on the part of the visitor
Linen sheets dating back to the 1950s, the typical "Heutücher", separate the terraces of the restaurant in a welcoming way
The suites, with their square plan and high windows, maximize the entry of natural light to the benefit of the rooms and bathrooms. Each bed, overlooking the valley, allows visitors to fully enjoy the view in the early hours of the morning
The wellness area has a sauna and swimming pool, framed by the wood of the facade, which extends over the entire west wing of the building
Attention to detail, craftsmanship and local tradition characterize every aspect of the project, from interior design to lighting and architecture
Glass beads blasted from the front full of water, whose shapes are derived from stones found in the area used as negatives, hung from the ceiling of the atrium serve as the connecting element between the old and the new building
The main materials are traditional materials: wood, stone, glass and linen. The high windows enable the acquisition of solar energy while the wooden elements serve as protection
