The Davison Collaborative project, implemented by HIP V. HYPE and Archier in Brunswick, a suburb of Melbourne, follows the collaborative development model that pursues the bringing together of different professionals and personalities to have a multidisciplinary approach. The goal is to create quality town-houses that are more sustainable and financially affordable in a reality where property prices are rising higher and higher, excluding entire segments of the population from the market

Davison Collaborative represents a way we can use the existing housing stock more efficiently, while positively changing the character of urban suburbs for future generations
Each house in the Davison Collaborative redevelopment intervention is divided on two levels and manages to house inside, in addition to the living and kitchen area, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a parking space, and distributional spaces that ensure separation between public and private environments. The design is driven by the desire to maximize livability in high-density living
The residences are fully powered by solar electricity, with direct power during the day and from storage batteries at night. The intent is for the Davison Collaborative's homes to have minimal environmental impact (100 percent free of fossil fuel consumption, minimum environmental rating of 8 stars), as much as to reduce energy costs for residents
