The old supporting structure of the hut, made of stone masonry, has been restored and within its volume resting on the rock there are three levels that divide the three functional areas of the house, joined by a wooden staircase with an ancient soul for the use of raw wood but with a modern shape.
Cabin in the Pyrenees. Structure made of stone and wood accompanied by a minimalist style
Hiha Studio renovates an old chalet located in the Pyrenees. Starting from the original wall structure, it uses wood to redefine the spaces on three levels and inserting a few minimalist wood furnishings that almost blend in.

Inside the space is open, the wood on the floor and the beams highlight the spaces in contrast with the dark structure of the stone on the walls. The elements of detachment are white walls that intersperse the stone and the gray ceramics that frame the kitchenette on the floor and wall, as if to create a picture in itself.
The furnishing elements are few, almost as if not wanting to interact too much with the structural essence of the house that is so important. The only outstanding element is the stove that is insulate, and the kitchen with its white and minimalist finishes.
