The building has a continuous glass façade, characterized by the superimposition of a weave of thin horizontal and vertical elements that underline the layout in planes and the structural grid of the façade. L22's design approach follows a contemporary vision where maximizing the efficiency and flexibility of future office space is combined with innovative façade design and a flux of spaces and views from inside to outside and vice versa
To emphasize the verticality of the tower, the facade grid is extended beyond the floor of the terrace, while a Santafiora stone cladding of gray lava rock is used to visually anchor the building to the ground to the pillars and lintel on the ground floor. The giant order of columns covered in Santafiora gray lava rock to emphasize the solidity of the base and make the superior construction more elegant
On the ground floor the closing gate towards the square in front is removed to open the first floor in a visual continuum and use of space: the building is connected to the city. On the outside, it has an array of double-height pillars. The double-height hall is a functional and dynamic venue both for accommodation and relaxation
In order not to interrupt the volume unit on the main front, a lodge has been created in each of the floors dedicated to office spaces, which have been completely renovated with a view to improving the efficiency and flexibility of the work environment
An external service lift, which functions as a fire elevator in case of need, can access all floors of the tower, up to the new terrace on the 13th floor. The shift of the gross floor area, from the terraces, from the common mezzanine and from the closure of the disembarkations-elevators, has created an area that can be used for a new level, the 13th and for the conversion to offices of the 12th floor that was previously used only for technical rooms
The penthouse floor is characterized by the large terrace (about 370 square meters) with trees and shrubs in pot, 360 ° views of the city and the event room also equipped with closed spaces and support
The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification process at Platinum level is underway for Torre Sassetti, the certification that recognizes the building's important values such as saving resources, energy efficiency, the selection of materials, low consumption lighting and the quality of the internal environment
The intervention was designed under the keywords elegance and timelessness. The new Sassetti Tower has a strong identity, free from temporary fashions
