The project for the Sedwick Rd advertising agency by Olson Kundig, celebrates the centenary patina of space and the beauty of raw materials: a more egalitarian corporate approach to promoting creativity
The architects initially proposed the demolition of the interior space, setting aside steel beams, wooden beams, original doors and windows and a steel crane, which would be used later
A large space in the centre, covered by steel trusses, houses the conference room named "Frankenstein". The project is in the same spirit of Mary Shelley's creation: putting together different parts, old pieces to create something new. In the same way, different parts of the original structure were reused for movable walls
