In order to plan the project, a fulcrum is identified as a meeting place for both social and business activities. Architecturally this fulcrum becomes an open space under a new large skylight full of natural light
Surrounding the fulcrum is a strong textural palette of ebony-stained plywood that primarily characterizes the new additions. Two existing conferring rooms were retained and covered with the same materials to link them to the new design
