Atelier Poem

A poetic approach to architecture

Atelier Poem is an architecture studio founded by Alice Cecchini and Roman Joliy, based in Urbino, Italy. The name "Poem" derives from the ancient Greek poíêma (creation) and poiéô (action), reflecting the studio's approach, oriented towards concrete realization and the creation of unique architectural narratives. The studio's design philosophy is based on creating works that weave deep relationships between individuals and places, transforming the complexity of design parameters into simple and refined solutions. Architecture for Atelier Poem is a sensitive process that shapes materials and light based on their emotional capacities, creating spaces rich in meaning and harmony.

Recognition and collaborative philosophy

Atelier Poem has received prestigious awards, including the mention of "Young Talent of Italian Architecture 2022," conferred by the National Council of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects, and Conservators (CNAPPC). The studio is known for projects that explore architectural archetypes with an innovative and spiritual approach, such as the installation La Timidité des Cimes and the Chapel of Tears, a wooden chapel that engages with the natural context. This collaborative and sensitive approach places the identity of places and human interaction at the center, contributing to the creation of immersive and engaging experiences.
