Scalpers Seville: the new flagship store in the brand's hometown

In Seville, the birthplace of the Scalpers brand, the new flagship store stands out as a boutique of excellence surrounded by vernacular and contemporary architecture, serving as inspiration for a design project that transforms shopping into a true customer experience.

Vernacular and contemporary architecture embrace the fashion brand

"Las Setas" in Plaza de Encarnación by architect Jürgen Mayer on one side and vernacular architecture on the other are the background and inspiration for one of architectural projects by Francesc Rifè Studio, the flagship store of Scalpers in Seville. Tradition and modernity blend harmoniously, manifesting in the use of materials, colors, and lights capable of providing a unique experience to the customer.

The logo and its deconstruction in spatial design

The Scalpers logo, represented by a skull and two shinbones, is deconstructed and translated into design elements. The ground floor, dedicated to men's fashion, includes a large stainless steel frame that recalls the head of the logo, while on the first floor, dedicated to women's fashion, the two shinbones are represented by elongated ovals that create unique display areas.

The spatial and material experience of space

In addition to a meticulously designed spatial layout, the boutique has undergone a careful selection of materials.

Steel, concrete, oak: the distinctive features

The steel structures are the backbone of the project, offering versatile solutions for hanging garments and gadgets, as well as concealing and organizing the building's pillars. The warmth of the oak arranged in a herringbone pattern, both in the floor and walls, combines with the gray concrete, also warm, elevating the materiality of the spaces to a more sophisticated level.

The U-shaped staircase: a standalone architectural element

At the center of the Scalpers Seville store, there is a U-shaped staircase, equipped with a panoramic elevator inside. Here too, the design enhances the customer experience, with screens strategically placed along the path projecting the brand's latest advertising campaigns.

Sartorial lighting that differentiates spaces

The study of lighting, combined with that of materials, further enhances the sensory experience of the customer, giving them a contemporary atmosphere. The project involves a customized lighting fixture that incorporates multiple LEDs extending across the first two floors. The tailoring section, on the other hand, located on the top floor, adopts a more classic approach to lighting with Downlights, LEDs integrated into the shelves, and customized spotlights. Unlike the other two floors, the top floor presents a more domestic atmosphere rather than commercial.
